After visiting the country my father was raised in and witnessing the cycle of poverty that ravages the still existing refugee camps my father once lived in, IlmPals emerged as an avenue for me to work to provide previously inaccessible resources–namely a good education–and change the fate of refugee children around the world.

When part of the ummah is hurting we should be hurting too, and we should be out there helping them.
